The jurors Adam Ferguson , Art Streiber, Barbara Davidson, Julia Fullerton-Batten, Justine Tjallinks, Sandro Miller and Steve McCurry, have selected the winners, runner ups and artists shortlists.
Fotonostrum Portrait Award 2021 will be exhibited in The FotoNostrum Gallery in Barcelona, in October 2022.

Svetlin Ivanov is a travel-documentary-art photographer from Bulgaria.
Mursi People is a series of photos that were taken during his visits to Ethiopia, where he even lived with the tribe. The African tribe of Mursi people is isolated in Omo valley - South Ethiopia near the border with Sudan. This photos are part of the album ‘Ethiopian tribes expedition 2018’ and ‘Second Ethiopian tribes expedition 2019.’

SERIES: Chloe Meynier
Chloe Meynier is a San Francisco based photographer. Her practice focuses primarily on gender identity and women’s roles. Drawn from personal experience, the highly narrative photographs challenge female stereotypes, gender equality and societal norms.
Through a mise-en-scene self-portraiture series, Made In The Shade depicts characters in Mid Century Modern settings, mirroring an era that was aspiring for change.

Born and raised in a little village in the Italian Alps, now based in Barcelona, Mauro de Bettio already felt from young age the desire to tell.
His photography is interested in different cultures and ways of life, which has taken him to the most hidden corners of different countries to capture the emotion and trauma of the suffering humanity of various individuals and their unique stories.

SERIES: Joseph-Phillipe Bevillard
Born in Boston, Joseph-Philippe Bevillard started drawing and painting after he lost his hearing at the age of 3. He took up photography during his senior year at a private school in Massachusetts.
In 2010, he started a new project, photographing the Irish Travellers and four years later, he formed the Irish Travellers Photo Workshop which takes place every year.
